A competent qualified training manager with over 35 years of experience, specialist in construction and utility sectors. In addition, is contracted to several awarding organisations that provided External Quality Assurance services and therefore competent in the requirements of OFQUAL and all regulatory bodies. Takes pride in ensuring client satisfaction by providing a quality service and complete management information to ensure awareness of the candidate’s progression throughout the process.
David started his career as a civil engineer before promotions into site management on both civil engineering and residential construction projects. During this period, he mentored and trained staff to fulfil their aspirations and achieve qualifications to degree level, enjoying this role he was promoted to group training manager on both the internal and external training and development delivery for the group.
Experienced in the contract management of large training delivery to blue-chip companies and holding full knowledge of developing management information systems to meet client requirements and expectations.
Anthony started his career in the H M Forces (Army) as a vehicle specialist in the late 70s where he was engaged in the supply and maintenance of all wheeled and tracked vehicles for all 3 services. He spent the latter part of his career in Germany and Canada.
His first career path after leaving the military was engaged in Heavy Machinery removals and Installations within the UK. This work led him down the path of Crane operator eventually and started operating small cranes from 40t to 100t With Baldwins Crane hire in London. Anthony worked alongside Heavy Cranes and was eventually selected to cover Heavy Cranes when Required.
After leaving the Baldwins business in the early noughties, he was employed as an operations manager for a local crane hire company and helped the business grow from the initial 3 cranes to 18 cranes! Planning schedules, visiting sites and planning contract lifts.
Anthony then moved to national crane hire company Ainscough and quickly moved onto Heavy Crane operator, operating a brand new 500t mobile crane! Erecting wind turbines and heavy lifting.
He left the Ainscough business in 2014 and went on a new and exciting concept with Road Rail Cranes, where he operated rail-mounted mobile cranes on track installing new bridges and steelwork.
Anthony has now since left the business and is employed as an NVQ assessor and Trainer/Tester for NPORS. Anthony’s wealth of cranes and lifting experience has led him to be involved in helping the next generation of lifting personnel progress for the future.
